Youth

As the student ministry of First Baptist Church Wedowee, IMPACT Youth exists to point students to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in faith, love, and obedience to Him (Colossians 1:28–29). Our desire is to see teenagers come to true saving faith in Christ and to walk with Him daily, finding joy in His Word, courage in their faith and witness, and strength to serve Him in their families, schools, and community.

We seek to accomplish this through the faithful teaching and preaching of God’s Word, small group discipleship, and intentional investment in the lives of students. Weekly gatherings include Bible study, fellowship, and worship, with opportunities throughout the year for retreats, service projects, and mission involvement. This includes pecial experiences like Beach Retreat, Winter Retreat, Community Outreach, and Mission Trips.

Weekly Schedule

• Sunday School: 9:00 AM
• Sunday Evening Bible Study: 5:00 PM
• Wednesday Evening Meal and Worship: 6:00 PM

Our heart is to walk alongside students during this vital season of life, equipping them to form lasting spiritual convictions and a biblical worldview as they grow into adulthood. Whether or not they are members of our church, all students are welcome to join us.
