Dr. Keith Taylor
Lead Pastor
Keith was called to serve as the Pastor of First Baptist Church Wedowee in 2024. Before coming to Wedowee, he served at Dauphin Way Baptist Church, where he was called as Family Pastor in 2016 and later served as Executive Pastor beginning in 2019.
Keith has been married to his wife, Keri, since 1999, and they have four children. Prior to full-time ministry, he served our nation as a Marine officer, working as a pilot, air officer, and staff officer.He holds degrees from Louisiana Tech University (B.S., Mechanical Engineering) and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div., Th.M., and Ph.D. in Biblical Exposition). Keith has a burden for families and a desire to equip men to lead their homes, churches, and communities with biblical conviction. He is passionate about teaching God’s Word and helping others grow in their love for Scripture.
When he’s not studying or serving, Keith enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, gathering around the firepit, and perfecting the art of smoking just about any kind of meat.

Bryan Wortham
Interim Director of Student Ministries
Bryan Wortham, Interim Director of Student Ministry, from Wedowee, Alabama, has been serving in youth ministry for several years. Passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God, he loves connecting with students, encouraging them, and challenging them in their faith. Bryan is dedicated to building lasting relationships with the youth, helping them grow spiritually. Known for his fun-loving, energetic personality, he’s a big kid at heart who enjoys joking around and having fun.
He is married to his beautiful wife Charla, and together they have three wonderful children: Cru, Remi, and Kovi. Bryan's mission is to inspire and equip youth to make an impact on the world through their faith.
