Frequently Asked Questions
Wondering what Sundays at FBC Wedowee are like? We’ve put together answers to some common questions so you’ll know what to expect and can feel right at home when you join us.
What should I know about Sunday Service?
We are so thankful you have joined us for worship on this Lord’s day! Our desire is to glorify God by singing His praises, expressing our dependence upon Him in prayer, receiving instruction and encouragement from the teaching of His word, and renewing our fellowship with one another. May the Lord be glorified today.
Our worship is Christ-centered, engaging, and focused on glorifying God together. Each week, our pastor shares practical, biblical messages that speak to everyday life.
For dress attire, our church family typically comes in dressy casual attire—jeans and a nice shirt, or a casual dress if you’d like. No need to dress up fancy, but you probably won’t see flip-flops or board shorts.
Come as you are. we’re excited to welcome you!

Are children welcome in service?
Seeing families strengthened is a pillar of our vision for our church. Jesus said to let the children come to him, and we firmly agree. Families are encouraged to worship together.
However, we do provide a program that is safe and led by trained and caring volunteers for children from birth through 6th grade for those who would prefer to participate. A nursery is available for babies and toddlers. How do I get more involved?
Help us connect with you and get you connected with our fellowship by filling out the visitor card located in back of the chair in front of you.
Drop the card in the offering plate or hand it to the pastor after the service. Be sure to meet the pastor in the Rally Room as you exit the worship service.
You can also fill out the contact form on the contact page.
