What is Operation Christmas Child?
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Since 1993 OCC has played an essential role in distributing shoebox gifts for children all over the world, opening doors for the Gospel. More than 244 million children in over 175 countries and territories have received a shoebox. Local believers then tell the boys and girls about God's Greatest Gift, Jesus Christ, during an outreach event.
These smiles are a glimpse of the impact your shoebox can make. Through each gift, children are experiencing the joy of receiving a shoebox and hearing about the love of Jesus.

How Can You Help?
- Take a Shoebox, or two or more, from the Rally Room or entranceway.
- Take a flyer with instructions on how to pack a box.
- Take a label to note the age and gender of your box.
- If able, pay $10 per box for shipping.
- Return your packed shoeboxes the week of November 16th.
- If you'd rather donate and have Mission Minded Ladies/WMU pack a box for you, make your check payable to FBCWedowee and in the notes section put OCC.
Volunteer for the Pack Party

Wednesday, November 11 at 6:00PM, we will have a church-wide Pack Party for any remaining shoeboxes. Youth and AWANA kids will first learn about the Great Commission bible verse and how OCC shoeboxes are a way to fulfill that directive. Volunteers are needed to help them pack shoeboxes, pray over the shoeboxes, and pack them into cartons. AWANA and Youth leaders are asked to help with this evening. Pizza will be served. See Danna Ely if you can help.
Volunteer for Drop-off Week

FBCWedowee is the only Drop-Off Location in Randolph County. Volunteers are needed to receive shoeboxes from other churches and individuals and box them into larger cartons for delivery. See Danna Ely or Sabrina Collins if you can help with Drop-off Week. 3-4 people are needed for each time frame noted below. Sign-up sheet can be found in the Rally Room.
